Laughter Yoga Wellness for Chronic Pain and Fatigue Help Online


Are you living with chronic pain or fatigue and would like to bring more joy and laughter into your life? Would you like to join a laughter yoga club but find going outside of your home too much of a challenge?

This online programme has been designed just for you.

Join me, and people just like you, for a series of weekly, 15 minute online group sessions of Laughter Yoga for Wellness, specifically tailored so you can enjoy the benefits laughter, heart conscious breathing and relaxation in the comfort of your own home.

As someone who lived with chronic pain and fatigue for many years, I understand how frustrating and isolating symptoms can be. I know too the magic of being with a group of people who understand how you feel and are positive about making a personal change.

Laughing more has been said to improve mood and reduce levels of pain and discomfort. Participants in previous laughter clubs have said they have generally felt less anxious and stressed and more able to cope with life.

Its ok if at first you don’t feel like laughing, or even smiling. Laughter is best when it comes naturally and there is no pressure to take part. Your brain and body will respond to others laughter, sending feel-good hormones and chemicals around your body.  Laughter is contagious and you may soon find yourself joining in.

Others in the group will be just like you and may be sitting, standing or lying in bed.  All you need is access to the internet, and smartphone/laptop/computer with camera and microphone.

You don’t need technical know-how to take part.  A link and instructions will be sent to you by email, message or text before each laughter yoga for wellness session. Clicking the  link will bring you to a small group of like-minded new friends ready for 15 mins of fun, relaxation and tips in how to bring more laughter and joy into your life.

You will be asked to provide some information about your health condition to help make the Laughter Yoga sessions appropriate to you. Information you provide will be kept in confidence

Sessions are kept to 15 minutes per week and will include laughter exercises that take into account your ability. For your comfort, places are limited to a maximum of 8 people.

Start your week in a positive way and make Mondays matter with more laughter and joy.
